Recent projects included extending a door press and modifying a foaming jig for Solar Hot Water tanks. Windrush yachts have recently trialed, with great success, long centre boards for F18 class catamarans, designed and CNC machined by BDG.
BDG now has SolidWorks as well as ProE. This will enable us to work even more closely with clients existing Solid Works data.
First flight of the new UAV was successful on 19 Dec 2011, just 7 weeks after contract award. Next test flights should be on 21 Dec 2011. BDG CNC machined the matched moulds for pre-preg bladder composites, enabling prototype construction the same way as series production, and quick prototype manufacture.
BDG has been selected as the designer for a new composite small robotic aircraft project for a significant aerospace client. BDG tasks will include complete conceptual and detailed design including performance modeling, control system design and payload integration.
The Uniflow renewable energy engine testing is progressing. The engine is being test run to improve and prove durability. Next tasks will focus on
BDG recently delivered tooling and parts for two different sub sea buoyancy clients.
The Uniflow engine is moving towards being ready for its next testing phase next week.
I just added Video of a two layer pump housing being machined at Pump Tech in Rockingham on a BDG 0672 CNC router
Current projects include sub sea buoyancy compensation. CNC machined tools and machined hydrostatic compression foam.
Current machining projects include engine cowling mould for aerospace application.
